Andrew - Bass Guitar

Credit goes to Andrew for the name 'The Ripchords'. David and Andrew played together during the 70's & 80's in a band called R.I.P. Then in 2000 one of the very first gigs for the then newly formed but still un-named Ripchords Band was at a parachute club function at Corowa. It was asked what the name of the band was and Andrew using the RIP from the old band and the fact they were at a parachute club, came up with RIP-CORDS. The name stuck and we were to become The RIPCHORDS from that day on!

Andrew has a encyclopedic knowledge of the early Australian rock scene and uses this knowledge not only with The Ripchords as our on stage announcer but also in his weekly radio show with 3NRG-FM on 99.3Mhz community radio.
