Ray - Drums and Vocals

Ray joined up with The Ripchords in 2001 not only bringing with him fine drumming talents but adding another vocal dimension to the band. Ray first played in the 60's with a Gippsland band named 'Simon Honeybone'. The band won the 3TR Radio Station  "Battle of the Bands" competition and then came to Melbourne for the finals held at Fesitval Hall.

Ray has been in a number of Pub & Cabaret bands throughout the 70's right through until he joined us in 2001. Some of those bands were Riff Band, Frost, Real Band and Pocket Money. Ray still meets up with some of the guys for the occassional jam and reminisce.
